To access most features of our platform, including course enrolment and your learning dashboard, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information, including your name and a valid email address, and to keep this information up to date.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password. You must not share your account with any other person or allow any other individual to access our Services using your login details. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

We accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your account credentials secure.

4.3 Account Types

We offer two types of accounts: Student accounts and Instructor accounts. Each account type is subject to its own access rights and responsibilities as outlined on the relevant registration page. You may not use an account for purposes other than those for which it was created.

5. Course Enrolment and Access

5.1 Enrolment

Upon completing a course purchase, you will receive immediate access to the relevant course materials, including video lessons, reading resources, quizzes, downloadable content, and any other materials included in that course. Access is granted to the individual purchaser only and may not be shared, resold, or transferred to any other person.

5.2 Lifetime Access

Once enrolled, you are granted lifetime access to the course materials you have purchased, including any future updates made to those materials. “Lifetime access” refers to the continued availability of the course on our platform. In the event that Learning Unpacked ceases to operate or discontinues a course, we will endeavour to provide reasonable notice and, where possible, alternative arrangements.

5.3 Course Content and Updates

We reserve the right to update, amend, or withdraw course content at any time to ensure accuracy, quality, and relevance. Significant changes to course content will be reflected in the course materials available in your account. We do not guarantee that course content will remain unchanged indefinitely.

5.4 Prerequisites

Certain courses may have stated prerequisites or recommended prior knowledge. It is your responsibility to review the course information page before enrolling to ensure the course is suitable for your current skill level. We are not obligated to issue a refund if you enrol in a course without meeting the stated prerequisites.

5.5 Device Compatibility

Our platform is designed to be accessible via desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices with an internet connection. We do not guarantee compatibility with all devices, browsers, or operating systems and accept no liability for technical issues arising from your hardware or software configuration.

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 Pricing

All course prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Promotional or discounted prices are valid only for the period stated and may not be applied retrospectively to previous purchases.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

7.2 How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund, please contact our support team at [email protected] with your order number and a brief explanation of your request. Refund requests received within the 14-day window will be processed in full. Approved refunds will be returned to your original payment method within five (5) business days.

7.3 Refund Exclusions

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Requests made more than 14 calendar days after the purchase date.
  • Certificates that have already been issued and downloaded.
  • Courses purchased through third-party platforms or promotional partners, which are subject to the third party’s own refund policies.
  • Cases where there is evidence of abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeated purchases and refund requests of the same course).

We reserve the right to decline refund requests that we reasonably believe are made in bad faith or in violation of these Terms.

8. Certificates and Accreditation

8.1 Certificate of Completion

Upon successfully completing a course and passing any associated assessments, you will be entitled to receive a certificate of completion. Certificates are issued as PDF documents and can be used to demonstrate your participation in and completion of the course to employers, colleagues, or professional bodies.

Many of our courses carry CPD (Continuing Professional Development) recognition or other professional accreditations. To claim your accredited certificate following course completion, please contact our support team. Accreditation details specific to each course are stated on the relevant course page.

Transactional emails, such as order confirmations and account notifications, are not subject to the marketing opt-out and will continue to be sent as necessary for the administration of your account and purchases.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website and courses may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, tools, or services (including Stripe for payment processing). These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Learning Unpacked accepts no responsibility or liability for the content, practices, or availability of any third-party service.

The inclusion of any third-party link or service does not constitute an endorsement by Learning Unpacked.

14. Disclaimers

14.1 Educational Purposes Only

You should seek qualified professional guidance before acting on any information obtained through our courses.

14.2 Platform Availability

We aim to ensure that our platform is available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access to our Services. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons. We accept no liability for any loss or inconvenience resulting from planned or unplanned service interruptions.

14.3 Accuracy of Information

While we take care to ensure the accuracy and quality of our course content, we do not warrant that all information contained within our courses is complete, current, or free from error. Course content is provided “as is” and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

16. Indemnification

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund outside of the 14-day refund window. Certain provisions of these Terms, including those relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law, will survive the termination of your account.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
